These are some utilities you may find handy to have. All of the utilities have been zipped for downloading. You are responsible for virus checking these download files. If you need a program to unzip these files please go to:

Newer versions of these utilities may also be available on the Internet. The versions listed here are bug free and I use them on a daily basis.

Arachnophilia HTML Editor - © Paul Lutus

This is an excellent HTML Editor. It includes all of the features you would expect and also includes a Spell Checker and FTP. The program is CareWare, which is a form of FreeWare.

Xenu Link Sleuth - © Tilman Hauherr

Sites are constantly changing on the Internet. Xenu Link Sleuth is an excellent freeware program for checking the Link Page on your site. The program offers useful reporting features. Xenu is also handy for checking the links and HTML jumps within your own site.

LVIEW - © Leonardo H. Loureiro

This is an excellent shareware utility for working with images. LVIEW can be used to convert between image formats, cropping, resizing and generating multiple images.

With Netscape you can use it when viewing images on the Internet. To set up LVIEW to work with Netscape go to Options / General Preferences / Helpers.

Spelling Checker - © Brian Quinion

This has got to be one of the best programs I have ever used. It permits you to run a spell check in any edit box. This includes just about anything you type on the Internet. You can set the Hot Keys to pull it up and even build your own supplemental dictionary as you use it. Spelling Checker is freeware for non-commercial use.

You must download both the speller and the dictionary and unzip both files in the same subdirectory.
